KOTRA Amsterdam - Export Specialist

KOTRA Amsterdam is looking for an Export Specialist for its marketing position.
KOTRA (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) is a government agency
established in 1962 and has 127 global networks in 84 countries. The employee will be
responsible for supporting Korean SME clients in building business networks in the
Netherlands.

Your roles and responsibilities
The Export Specialist will perform marketing for Korean SME clients who want to
export their goods and services to the Netherlands by searching for prospective buyers
or partners and building business relationships with them. Also, the Export Specialist
must work closely and collaboratively with the Research and Investment Promotion
Department at KOTRA Amsterdam to deliver precise and practical information to their
clients.

• Perform marketing for Korean small and medium-sized enterprises which want to export their goods and services to the Netherlands;

• Support Korean SMEs with the expansion of their products and services in the Netherlands;

• Search for prospective buyers or partners and build a business relationships with them;

• Organize business events and meetings, support incoming and outgoing business delegations;

• Execute projects accepted by the Korean government;

• Help Dutch companies cooperate with Korean partners;

• Conduct research on Korean and Dutch market trends, spread and consult this information to Korean exporters and prospective buyers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (including graduate candidates of next year), any major is welcome;

• Fluent writing and speaking abilities in English and Dutch or Korean is a must;

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at the same time;

• Advanced user with MS Office;

• (For Non-EU nationals) Permanent Residence Permit of one of the EU countries is required.
