Hey hi everyone! My name is Mara, I’m a third-year student and your Chair this year! That means I oversee the day-to-day running of the association, chair the General Assembly, lead our weekly board meetings, and work together with my fellow board members to ensure everything runs smoothly! Although I’m taking it a bit easier with classes this year, you’ll still find me around the university quite often. I also live in Leiden, so if you see me around, don’t hesitate to come up to me! This year I’ve joined our amazing Party Committee, so of course I expect to see all of you at our parties ;). 

 

In my spare time, outside of boardwork, homework and my student job, I am a sociable person who prefers spending time with friends, talking and drinking wine or tea. To me it doesn’t matter if it's at home on the couch or in a cute cafe. In the hours I don’t meet others, I usually pick up a good book, or I rewatch a show  I have seen dozens of times before.

 

I look forward to spending time and making beautiful memories with everyone this year. Together we’ll make sure to bring the association to bloom even further this year! See you soon at the activities <3
