About the event
Dear all,
Are you curious about the world of content localization or do you have ambition in the field of translation? This guest lecture, given by Korea Studies alumna Maureen Kuijs, will provide valuable insight into Korean-English translation and gives an opportunity to ask questions to an industry professional.
Maureen Kuijs is an alumna of Korea Studies at Leiden University and holds a Masterโs degree in Korean Linguistics from Yonsei University. Currently she works as a Korean-English translator and editor at Kiwi Vine and specializes in webtoon translation. She will be presenting via video call.
Even if your interests do not align with the Korean language, this guest lecture will still provide valuable insights into the wider field of translation, cross-cultural communication and how to connect people through language. We would love to welcome you all!
