The 학co organizes it’s second seminar! Blue Eyes and Flexible Tongues: the role of Non-Korean Actors and Foreign languages in Global Korean Media. By looking at Squid Game in the context of media, we will take a look at how foreigners and foreign languages change the reception of the Korean Wave in its current global streaming iteration, whether they are seen as “polluting” or diversifying it.🐙 The lecture will be given by Dr. B.R.
