Puck van der Veen
Commissioner of Media

Dear Dokkae친구들,

I’m Puck, a fourth-year Korean Studies bachelor’s student and your commissioner of Media for this wonderful anniversary year. As your commissioner of Media, I focus primarily on promoting association activities via our social media channels, managing our WhatsApp and Discord communities, and maintaining the Dokkaebi website. I am also a member of the party committee and, for the fourth year running, the travel committee. I hope to use my creative and technical skills to make a valuable contribution to the association and, together with Board V, organize a fantastic anniversary year.

Outside of my studies and board duties, I spend most of my time on my creative endeavours. I’ve been active as a freelance illustrator since 2016 and volunteer as a creative and social media manager for various conventions and event organizations. I channel any remaining creative energy into music; whether it’s singing, playing the guitar, or listening to music for hours on end, I couldn't go a day without it.

Some might find me introverted at first glance, but that’s only because you haven’t seen me dancing at a Dokkae party yet! I’m 100% extroverted, just a little shy at times. So, if you spot my mop of red curls around campus, don’t hesitate to come over and say hi!
